Tour Itinerary

Day 01 Arrival of Beijing
On arrival you will be met and transferred to prebooked hotel. The remainder of the day is yours to relax.
Day 02 Beijing (Breakfast, Lunch)
Pay a visit to the Tiananmen Square, then proceed to explore the magnificent Forbidden City. After lunch, continue to visit the Summer Palace. Optional program in the evening: Peking Opera, Kungfu Show or Chinese Acrobatics.

Tiananmen Square: The biggest inner-city square in the world, it covers an area of 440,000 square meters with a length of 880m and a width of 500m. It can accommodate a million people for public gatherings or celebrations. Tianmanmen Square is located at the front of the Forbidden City. Many significant festivals are celebrated in the square and it is a great place to experience Beijing.
Forbidden City: Located in the center of Beijing, it used to be the imperial palace of ancient China. The Forbidden City covers an area of 74 hectares. In the past, 24 emperors from Ming (1368-1644) to Qing (1644-1911) dynasties lived in this rectangular imperial palace. As a political architecture, the Forbidden City carries the national philosophy and ideology.

Summer Palace: With 726.5 acres' area and three quarters water, it is the largest preserved imperial garden in China, a former imperial summer retreat for emperors of Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). The Summer Palace contains many interesting and spectacular sites. It has more than one hundred ancient style temples, bridges, pavilions, towers, mansions, and halls.
Day 03 Beijing (Breakfast, Lunch)
After breakfast, drive out to the best-preserved and most dramatic sections of the Great Wall of China at Mutianyu. After lunch, tour to the Temple of Heaven. Take a stopover at the 2008 Olympic Stadiums: the Bird's Nest and Water Cube on the way back to your hotel.

Mutianyu Great Wall: The Mutianyu section of Great Wall is located 80 km north from downtown Beijing. This section is less crowded than Badaling Great Wall. There are 23 original-style towers on the Mutianyu along the wall for about 3000 meters. Woods cover over 96% of the total area. The surrounding natural scenery is breath taking.
Temple of Heaven: A temple of Chinese religion used for imperial ceremonies for five centuries. It was the place where the emperors worship Heaven and to solemnly pray for a good harvest. The main Altar (Hall) is a magnificent triple-gabled circular building, 36 meters in diameter and 38 meters tall. It sits on a round foundation and three level white marble stone.
Day 04 Beijing - Xian (Breakfast, Lunch)
Get on a rickshaw for a Hutong Tour through the zigzag and narrow alleys. After lunch, you will be transferred to Beijing railway station and take high speed train to Xian which takes 5 hours. Upon your arrival at Xian railway station, your local guide will pick you up at the station and send you to the hotel.
Day 05 Xian (Breakfast, Lunch)
Visit the life-size Terracotta Warriors Army in the morning. After lunch, explore the Xian Museum, then visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda.

Terracotta Warriors Army: One of the top attractions in China. It is a collection of 8,000 life-size terracotta sculptures depicting the armies of Qin Shi Huang (259-210 BC), the first Emperor of China. The site was listed by UNESCO as one of the world cultural heritages in 1987.
Day 06 Xian - Chengdu (Breakfast, Lunch)
Visit the ancient Xian City Wall and the Great Mosque. Then have a stroll over the nearby Bell Tower & Drum Tower Square for some great photo opportunities. Be transferred to the airport for flight to Chengdu. Upon your arrival at Chengdu, local guide will meet you and transfer to your hotel.

Xian City Wall: Constructed in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), this well-preserved ancient military defense system is in a rectangular form with a circumference of 13.79 km. It includes the city wall, moat, drawbridges, watchtowers, corner towers, parapet walls and gate towers.
Great Mosque: The major spot for the religious activities of over 60,000 Moslems in Xi'an. It is one of the oldest, largest and best-preserved Islamic mosques in China. According to the historical records carved on a stone tablet inside the Great Mosque, this mosque was built in 742 AD for Muslim traders during the Tang Dynasty (618-907).
Day 07 Chengdu (Breakfast, Lunch)
Visit the Panda Breeding and Research Base. After lunch, pay a visit to Sanxingdui Museum. After the trip, return to your hotel.
Day 08 Chengdu - Guilin (Breakfast, Lunch)
Visit Zhaojue Temple and then explore old street Kuan-Zhai Lane. After lunch, drive to Chengdu airport and take flight for Guilin. Upon your arrival at Guilin airport, local guide will meet you and transfer to your hotel.
Day 09 Guilin - Li River Cruise - Yangshuo (Breakfast, Lunch)
Be transferred to Zhujiang Pier where the impressive Li River cruise starts. Along the river you can enjoy the view of green bamboo groves, buffaloes cooling in the river, and limestone peaks that look like Chinese ancient paintings. The river tour takes 4 to 5 hours. After arriving Yangshuo, free time for you to explore the West Street of Yangshuo. There are many optional tours available at your own expense in Yangshuo, including trip to Silver Cave, bamboo rafting on Yulong River, cormorant fishing show, village tours by bicycle to get closed to fresh air, real rural sceneries, sometimes, you will see farmers tending rice fields.
Day 10 Yangshuo - Guilin - Shanghai (Breakfast, Lunch)
Drive 1.5 hours back to Guilin. Visit the Reed Flute Cave and the Elephant Hill. Enjoy a leisure walk from the picturesque Fir Lake to the Banyan Lake and the Southern Ancient Gate. Be transferred to the airport for flight to Shanghai. Upon your arrival at Shanghai, local guide will meet you and transfer to your hotel.

Reed Flute Cave: The exquisite and pretty cave is located in the northwest of Guilin, 5 kilometers away from the city center. In the cave, tourists will find large amount of stalagmites, stalactites, stone columns, stone curtains, stone pillars in fantastic shapes.
Elephant Trunk Hill: It stands in the downtown area of Guilin city, at the junction of the Li River and the Taohua River. Elephant Hill looks like an elephant, dipping its trunk into the Lijiang River, is known as a symbol of Guilin landscape.
Day 11 Shanghai (Breakfast, Lunch)
Explore the Yuyuan Garden and the bazaar near City God Temple and XinTianDi. After lunch, visit World Financial Center. Afterwards take a walk at the Bund and Nanjing Road.

Yuyuan Garden: A classical Chinese garden with a history of more than 400 years. Five dragon-shaped walls divide the garden into six scenic zones with distinct features. With elegant pavilions, kiosks, winding cloisters, artificial hills, stone bridges and lotus pond, the garden is Shanghai's finest garden.
Day 12 Departure (Breakfast)
Departure transfer to the airport for your flight back home or onward Journey.
